MILWAUKEE -- The tears fell like the rain as the cries rang out like thunder.

Hundreds of mourners gathered on Sunday at 3330 S. 92nd Street in Milwaukee for a candlelight vigil outside the apartment building where police say a man shot three of his neighbors.

Investigators identified the victims as Jesus Manso Perez, 40, Phia Vue, 36, and his wife, Maikow Xiong Vue, 32.

"The rain falling has a purpose - the sky is crying and we are all crying," family member Douglas Vue told the large crowd. "We hope their spirits will rest in peace and their names will be remembered."

Prosecutors have charged one suspect, Dan Popp, with three counts of first degree intentional homicide.

Popp is currently being evaluated for mental health issues and will return to court on April 6th.
