KENOSHA COUNTY – Authorities in Kenosha County announced Monday they have identified the human remains found on the Lake Michigan shoreline back in December

After an investigation by the Kenosha County Sheriff’s Detective Bureau as well as the Kenosha County Medical Examiner’s Office, the human remains have been identified as 38-year-old Jonce Robinson Jr. of Waukegan, Illinois.
The remains were found by a passerby on December 28, 2016 on the Lake Michigan shoreline near the 1100 block of Sheridan Road in the Village of Somers. They were then sent to the University of North Texas Center for human identification where an anthropologic examination and collected DNA were able to confirm his identification.

The Sheriff's Office says Robinson’s manner and cause of death are still undetermined and remain under investigation.
