A horse and buggy crashed into a ditch in the Town of Manchester, injuring an infant and two others.

The Green Lake County Sheriff's office received a call about a crash along State Highway 44 around 3:30 p.m. Sunday.

Authorities say that the horse and buggy was traveling east on Highway 44 near Hilltop Road when it was passed by a truck pulling a camper. The truck "spooked" the horse, causing it to run into the ditch pulling the buggy with it and rolling it over, authorities said.

Two adults ages 40 and 31 and an infant, 10-months-old, were transported to a local hospital.

Police believe that the vehicle in question continued traveling without being aware of what took place.
