A Lake Geneva man is in custody after police say he planted suspicious devices on a property in Walworth County Tuesday.
Officers were called to an area just south of Lake Geneva at near the intersection with County Highway H on reports of a disorderly man driving recklessly in a gravel parking lot.
Authorities say the 46-year-old man tried to leave when officers arrived at around 5:30 p.m., but was taken into custody.
Investigators determined that the suspect had thrown or placed several suspicious devices around the property.
Several roads in Walworth County were shut down until close to midnight in the city of Bloomfield as bomb squads cleared the area of the devices.
The suspect, a Lake Geneva man, is being held in the Walworth County Jail and could face charges of recklessly endangering safety, possession of explosives and disorderly conduct.
