MILWAUKEE -- Harley-Davidson has announced its plans for its 115th-anniversary celebration in Milwaukee.

The event, set for August 29 through September 2, 2018, includes new venues, racing and a taste of motoculture.

According to a news release, the Labor Day Weekend festivities will bring beach motorcycle racing on Bradford Beach for the first time ever. The Harley-Davidson Museum itself will be the hub of the activities in the city, including games, a bike show, tattoo artists and live music.

Heather Malenshek, Vice President of Marketing for Harley-Davidson, says the celebration actually starts Monday, August 21, before Labor Day Weekend with a giant ride into Milwaukee.

“Harley-Davidson Rides Home launches from the four corners of the country with rides rolling into Milwaukee from Seattle, San Diego, Ft. Lauderdale and Portland, Maine," she adds. They will be stopping to pick up more riders at different Harley-Davidson dealerships along the way.
