GREENDALE — Hallowings is bringing pumpkin carving and other Halloween fun back to Greendale's Gazebo Park.
From Oct. 27 through Nov. 1, you can head to the park and carve a pumpkin for free. That pumpkin will then be apart of the largest display of lighted pumpkins in Milwaukee County.
There will also be Pumpkin Bowling and Gourd Golf at the event, as well as Punkin Chunkin on Sunday at Greendale High School. The organizers have a pumpkin launcher that can launch pumpkins over 700 feet, so that alone should have you interested.
Hallowings will also feature kite flying, costume contests, food, and live music.
The event is from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday, 4 p.m. until 9 p.m. on Friday, 11 a.m. until 9 p.m. on Saturday, and 11 a.m. until 7 p.m. on Sunday. Also, it's free to attend.
The event will follow COVID-19 safety guidelines and is sponsored by Gift of Wings, Greendale Park and Rec department, Grandhaven LLC, Love thy Neighbor Foundation, Renewal by Andersen and Mad City Windows.
