Hales Corners president has confirmed to TODAY'S TMJ4 that the fire chief of the village has resigned.
Martin Freibergs officially resigned from his position Monday.
The Hales Corners Fire Department has had its fair share of incidents recently including only having one firefighter staffed over Labor Day and a fire captain resigning after being accused of sexual harassment.
No other information has been released. A Fire and Police Commission meeting will be held tonight at 6.
