Greenfield Police: Driver falls asleep, leads to 6 vehicle crash and 4 people with injuries

GREENFIELD — Greenfield Police say six vehicles were involved in a crash, which all started after the driver fell asleep at the wheel.

It happened around 6:00 p.m. Monday evening at 27th and College.

Four people were taken to the hospital for non life-threatening injuries.

Police say he driver who fell asleep at the wheel was not arrested, but could be cited in the coming days.
