GREENFIELD — Brian Rozivka, 26, is facing one count of armed robbery after using a BB gun to rob Smoker's Paradise.

Police were called to Smoker's Paradise in Greenfield on Sunday, Jan. 12 for a report of an armed robbery. When they arrived, police spoke with the caller, a Smoker's Paradise employee.

According to the criminal complaint, the employee stated that Rozivka came into the store and approached her at the register. He then told her that he was armed and asked for all the money in the register.

The employee began to gather the money when the suspect told her to hurry up. She set down around $400 in cash on the counter. The suspect took it and ran off.

Police found footprints in the snow leaving the business so they used a K-9 to track the suspect. The dog lead the officers about 450 feet from Smoker's Paradise where they found Rozivka.

The suspect was taken into custody and, according to the criminal complaint, admitted to robbing Smoker's Paradise. He told police he had a BB gun and threw it into the woods after the incident.
