A man charged with beating a woman with brass knuckles last year was sentenced to 23 years behind bars.
Corleon Thomas brutally attacked a woman in a parking lot of a grocery store in Greenfield while he tried to steal her car. The woman fought back with pepper spray.
The woman faced her attacker in court.
“The first few blows to my face were very painful and they shook me,” she said.
The 18-year-old was sentenced Friday. Prosecutors also linked him to five stolen car cases.
