KENOSHA — UPDATE: On Saturday a resident of Auburn, NY recognized John Logatto from the Green Alert and contacted law enforcement.

Mr. Logatto is safe and the Green Alert has been canceled.

PREVIOUS STORY: Police are looking for a missing man who they say is an at-risk veteran. A Green Alert has been issued through the Wisconsin Department of Justice

69-year-old John Logatto was last seen leaving his room at Dayton Residential Care at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday to go shopping and have lunch. Police say Logatto has not returned to the facility since.

John has prior history of taking public transportation to other states and leaving his residence without notifying anyone. However, he has poor vision, poor hearing, and suffers from mental health issues that require medication.

Logatto is described as 5’ 6” tall, weighing 200 pounds, with blading-gray hair, and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing a white t-shirt, tan pants, and black shoes. Officers believe Logatto may be on foot in Kenosha or possibly use public transportation to travel outside the city.
