MILWAUKEE — Alverno College celebrated its 159th commencement Saturday afternoon.
The ceremony was held on campus at the Pitman Theater in Milwaukee.
More than 150 bachelor and associate degrees were handed out along with almost 90 master's degrees and one doctoral.
The graduates celebrated with family and friends at a reception following the ceremony.
Alverno College was founded in 1887 and today is one of the nation's largest Catholic women's colleges.
