Wisconsin Gov. Tony Evers visited Beloit and Janesville recently in order to advocate for the expansion of Medicaid in the state.
This came on Evers' trips to highlight his dental and "Healthy Women, Healthy Babies" initiatives in his 2019-21 biennial budget.
“By expanding Medicaid in Wisconsin, our budget improves access to quality, affordable health care for people across our state,” Gov. Evers said.
Wisconsin ranks 45th in the nation for dental care for children enrolled in Medicaid.
