The Glendale Police Department is looking for a suspect after several reported cases of indecent exposure in over the past few weeks.
At least two of those incidents occurred near the Oak Leaf Trail. Trail walkers like Brenda Costigan won't let this ruin summer, saying knowledge about your surroundings is important for everyone.
"It's not going to stop me from going outside. Rule number one, right? I have to enjoy what we have here," says Costigan.
The rash of indecent exposure incidents in Glendale is upsetting to Montrell Miller. He says hearing about men exposing themselves to innocent bystanders makes him worry about women and children instead of himself. But Miller says he's got a plan if he's put in such a situation.
"I'll try to follow them, you know, while I'm on the phone calling the police. But I'm with my kids, I'm going to try to get them away from that whole situation. You know, at the same time while contacting the authorities," says Miller.
Police say staying vigilant is the best course of action - as well as keeping your cell phone handy at all times.
One suspect is described as a man in his 30s with a brown beard and brown hair. Police say they weren't able to get a good description of the other suspect.
