Many Milwaukeeans and area residents came together as one after the deaths of MPD Officer Matthew Rittner and DPW employee Bryan Rodriguez.
Royal, a girl, spoke with her mother about the service and sacrifice of Rittner and decided to make special deliveries of doughnuts, her favorite food, to the Milwaukee Police Department, the Menomonee Falls Police Department and the Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office.
Rittner was killed in the line of duty while serving a search warrant Feb. 6. Rodriguez was killed while filling potholes Feb. 8.
