WISCONSIN — Good news, Wisconsin! Latest data is showing that the incoming snow storm is tracking more and more south, meaning the anticipated snow levels for southeastern Wisconsin are dropping.
Storm Team 4 Meteorologist Brian Niznansky says models are agreeing that heavy snow will miss our area and instead fall across northern Illinois. So, take that, Illinois.
********BIG CHANGES IN SNOW FORECAST******* Storm track is shifting way south. Milwaukee will be lucky to see a couple inches. Locations near state line may still see significant amounts, but may trend even farther south. #wiwx #weather pic.twitter.com/Y34gk0GY1U

Still, we are looking at around 1 to 3 inches of snow for the Milwaukee area. That is down from the initial 5 to 8 inches we were looking at.
