MILWAUKEE - From April 23 until June 11, a city-wide program is providing free services to help keep Milwaukee clean.

The services will be provided by Project Clean & Green. On designated dates, crews will sweep streets and collect unwanted items from certain zones. The city is divided into 7 zones, and crews will visit one zone per week. After the pick-up week, there could be a charge up to $150 for pickup requests larger than the size of a chair.

Look up your zone and see dates HERE.

Project Clean and Green will accept unwanted furniture, mattresses, household items, up to five tires, up to two cubic yards of tree trimmings, brown paper yard waste bags, debris, twigs and leaves, and brown paper yard waste bags of grass clippings.

The city will not pick up appliances, TVs, electronics, construction debris, or paint. These items should be taken to a City Drop Off Center. Click HEREfor center details.
