Need to get rid of some household chemicals? Drop them off at State Fair Park this weekend.
The Milwaukee Metropolitan Sewerage District (MMSD) is collecting items -- such as paint, motor oil, and rechargeable batteries -- from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on October 14 and from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on October 15.
The collection will be held by gate 8, just off South 76th Street. It is only open to Milwaukee County residents.
