Gee's Clippers Barber and Beauty Salon made a huge announcement Monday when they revealed their plans to open a wellness clinic within their barbershop.
According to a Facebook post by the company, Gee's will be hosting a ribbon cutting ceremony on Feb. 25 for their new clinic, Gee's MKE Wellness Clinic.
The clinic will be open Thursdays through Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Men will be able to receive the following services:
- Employment services
- Housing services
- Services to assist with food insecurities
- Services on continued education and completing a GED
- Health screenings (Blood Pressure, Glucose, BMI, HIV/STD, Cholesterol, Memory, Hearing, Vision, and Cardiovascular)
The post also mentioned that women would not be turned away.
