MADISON -- A University of Wisconsin Madison fraternity has cut ties with the school due to numerous allegations.
According to our partners at WISC-TV, the Theta-Chi chapter has decided to "end its participation as a registered student organization at the University of Wisconsin."
According to the release, the decision comes after months of investigations by the Wisconsin Division of Student Life which resulted in numerous unsubstantiated findings against the fraternity.
Fraternity officials said none of the allegations brought against the chapter have resulted in any criminal charges, arrests or citations, and the most serious allegation, of a house visitor being drugged, was found to not be true and the chapter’s suspension was reduced by 20 days.
In addition, there was supposed to be another hearing Friday, regarding improper recruitment and social events.
