FRANKLIN — Spooky season is almost upon us and the Milky Way Drive-In is getting ready to scare its customers.

The drive-in theater introduced a new series of events called Fright Nights which kick off Oct. 1.

Fright Nights will be every Thursday through Sunday during the month of October, and will feature scary movies for people of all ages.

From The Goonies to The Conjuring, Fright Nights will be filled with scary movies to get you in the Halloween spirit.

Tickets for Fight Nights are available online here for $35. To make things even better, on Thursdays, the Milky Way Drive-In will offer a double feature for the price of one carload.

“For a whole generation of us, the drive-in was where you saw the really, really scary movies,” said Mike Zimmerman, CEO of ROC Ventures, developer of Ballpark Commons. “We are excited about offering a safe Halloween outdoor movie experience the entire month of October.”

Restrooms will be open at the drive-in as well as concessions, with hand sanitizer available and signage promoting social distancing.

Even with the concessions open, the drive-in is encouraging customers to use their carhop delivery service available online. They are also requesting that visitors adhere to the "Stay In Your Vehicle Policy."
