MILWAUKEE -- Milwaukee's Fire and Police Commission has voted to reappoint Milwaukee Police Chief Alfonso Morales.
The commission voted on the reappointment during a special session after the regular Fire and Police Commission meeting on Wednesday night. 4 members of the commission voted to give Chief Morales a 4-year term. Two others voted no, and there was 1 abstention.
The police chief's contract was set to end in January. He took over last year to serve out the term of retired Chief Ed Flynn.
