A young passenger was killed Monday following a collision between a car and a dump truck in the Town of Cedarburg.
Authorities say that at around 5:45 p.m., a Ford Focus was westbound on Bridge Road when the driver failed to yield at a stop sign. The car was struck by a truck headed south on Granville Road.
The female driver of the car was treated at a local hospital for minor injuries. The driver of the truck was not hurt.
Alcohol or drugs were not a factor in the crash, according to a news release from the Ozaukee County Sheriff’s Office.
