MILWAUKEE — A police pursuit Tuesday night ended in a crash, and four people were arrested after drugs and guns were found in the vehicle, according to Milwaukee police.
Around 4:48 p.m., officers saw four individuals in a vehicle who were suspected of drug dealing. When officers attempted to stop the vehicle, the driver drove off, which led to a pursuit.
Just after 5 p.m., TMJ4's Lauren Linder caught police chasing the car by Hubbard and Palmer as it headed onto Commerce.
Shortly after, the vehicle crashed into a bike rack in the 1100 block of East Garfield Avenue. The four people in the vehicle then got out and tried to escape on foot, according to police.
However, officers caught up and the four people - two 18-year-olds, a 17-year-old, and a 15-year-old - were arrested. They were brought to a local hospital for minor injuries.
According to the Milwaukee Police Department, officers found drugs and guns in the vehicle, and charges will be filed in the next few days.
