Dotty Dumpling's Dowry is known as a staple in the Madison food scene opening its doors originally as a gift shop in Iowa in the late 1960s. Stanley later refocused efforts in Madison on food rather than a collection of eclectic jewelry and clothes.
The restaurant changed locations a few times over the decades, but currently resides in downtown Madison.
