Wisconsin’s magical NCAA tournament run has come to an end, as the Badgers fell 84-83 on a buzzer beater to Florida in overtime in Friday’s Sweet 16 matchup.

The Gators' Chris Chiozza took the ball across half court and awkwardly heaved up a shot as time expired to give Florida a berth in the Elite 8 later this weekend.

After Wisconsin jumped out to an early 11-point lead, Florida grabbed a two point halftime advantage.

The Badgers then tied it up with two seconds left in the second half at 72 apiece to send the game to overtime.

In the extra period, the Badgers looked to have punched their ticket to the Elite 8 with a pair of free throws from Nigel Hays, But Chiozza spoiled the party after knifing through the Badger's defense with less than four seconds to go in overtime.

Florida, the four seed, will now advance to take on seven seed South Carolina in the Elite Eight Sunday. The Gamecocks defeated Baylor 70-50 earlier Friday.
