The Marquette Interchange reopened Tuesday morning following an accident involving a newspaper delivery truck.
The Gannet distribution truck flipped over at about 3:10 a.m., forcing the closure of the ramp from I-94 eastbound to I-43 northbound.
Crews managed to tow the truck away, which was filled with newspapers destined for Ozaukee County.
A newspaper editor told 620 WTMJ that the driver appeared to have suffered some sort of medical emergency.
"It was delivering papers to Thiensville, Mequon, Cedarburg, Grafton, Saukville, and Port Washington," the editor told Wisconsin's Morning News.
"Our subscribers in those communities will receive a credit for today, and they'll get their Tuesday paper with Wednesday."
Our prayers are with the Journal Sentinel distribution truck driver who had medical emergency & accident this a.m. https://t.co/IjbUnyCiyz
