MILWAUKEE -- Many travelers boarding flights at Milwaukee's General Mitchell International Airport on Monday morning paused to watch coverage of the deadly shooting in Las Vegas on televisions outside of the security entrance to Concourse D.

One flight from Milwaukee to Las Vegas departed, on time, at 5:45 a.m.

Two other flights are scheduled to leave Monday from Mitchell Airport to Las Vegas. As of this morning, both are listed as on time.

There are also two flights set to depart Las Vegas's McCarran International Airport and arrive in Milwaukee this afternoon.

Both were on time Monday morning.

Following the shooting, McCarran Airport's official Twitter account announced all flights had been temporarily halted.

At 2:47 a.m. Central Time, McCarran announced "limited flight activity" had resumed.

Most recently, the airport Tweeted, "Nearly two dozen @LASairport flights diverted to other airports overnight. If traveling Monday morning, please check status w/ your airline."
