TOWN OF BURLINGTON — A man was transported by Flight for Life after a boating crash Monday involving a jet ski near the Fischer Park boat launch on Brown's Lake in the Town of Burlington.

A jet ski towing an inner tube with four occupants struck a fishing boat occupied by two individuals, according to the Racine County Sheriff's Office. The collision caused a man in the fishing boat to be ejected and thrown into the lake, according to the sheriff's office.

The man was unconscious, but breathing and struggling to stay afloat when the operator of the jet ski and the other boater lifted him out of the water and onto the boat to be driven to shore.

First responders called Flight for Life for the injuries sustained. All other occupants in the crash were accounted for, according to deputies.

This is an ongoing investigation, and there are no other details now.
