A fisherman claims to have seen a cougar in Rock County Tuesday morning.
The cougar was allegedly seen in Beloit along the shore of the Rock River near a foot bridge, according to our sister station WISC-TV.
Police say anyone who sees a cougar should stand tall, wave their arms, yell and throw stones or other objects.
"Don't run, but slowly back away from the site, keeping an eye on the cougar," said police.
