Two eggs from peregrine falcons, an endangered species, have been spotted at a We Energies plant in Oak Creek and in Valley.

Both the eggs were laid in the plants' nest boxes. For more than 20 years, We Energies has been part of a statewide effort to help restore the peregrine falcon population throughout Wisconsin. More than 273 of the birds have hatched at We Energies facilities.

The bird has been on the endangered list since the 1970s.
