PORT WASHINGTON — The first peregrine falcon of the spring season was born this weekend in Port Washington!

As the first weekend of spring comes to an end, we have good news to share. The peregrine falcons have begun laying their eggs.

We Energies saw the first egg over the weekend in Port Washington at one of their five nests around the state. Three of these nests are located on We Energies power plants, while the other two are located at Wisconsin Public Service plants.

We Energies will be posting on Twitter and Facebook whenever a new egg is laid. However, now is also the perfect time to watch the live cameras at each nest, as the falcons have began producing offspring.
