MILWAUKEE -- Milwaukee's downtown convention center, known as the Wisconsin Center, could be receiving a dynamic expansion costing between $244 and $277 million.
According to our partners at the Milwaukee BusinessJournal, the additions would total 157,000 to 172,000 of added square footage, and it would also be a three-level addition.
No decision to remodel the convention center has been made. Serious deliberations for the project are not likely to start until after the 2019 November elections for governor.
How the new renovations will be paid for is another question that has yet to be answered.
