MADISON, Wisc. — The Madison Police Department shared an awesome photo Tuesday in celebration of Black History Month.
The department said Pia was the first Black female patrol officer in Madison, and she still continues to work for the community.
Recently, she recreated an "iconic" 1975 photograph of her in the same spot.
