MILWAUKEE — The first annual Hopkins Harvest Fest is scheduled for Saturday, from noon until 5 p.m., and you're invited.

Alderwoman Milele A. Coggs is urging people to attend the event, which will take place on North 23rd Street from Hopkins to Townsend.

At the event, you can take part in family-friendly activities like a free pumpkin giveaway and additional community resources.

“The Hopkins Harvest Festival will be a neighborhood run and supported afternoon of family-friendly activities to enjoy on a great fall day. I hope residents come by to enjoy the activities and other offerings available,” said Alderwoman Coggs.

According to a press release, the event is organized by area resident Classie Thompson. Masks are strongly encouraged, and social distancing measures will be in place.
