Fire crews find vehicle intentionally set on fire in Racine

RACINE — Around 11:53 p.m. Racine Fire Department Engine 5 was dispatched to a report of a parked vehicle on fire near the intersection between Dekoven Avenue and Kearney Avenue.

Crews found a 2008 Ford Explorer on fire with the fire mainly in the rear cargo area.

The fire department reports that the vehicle is a total loss.

A fire investigator was called to the scene and indicated that the fire was intentionally set.
