When the top-ranked team in the nation goes down on the road, you can usually expect fans to storm the court.
That's exactly what happened in Milwaukee Tuesday night as the unranked Marquette Golden Eagles knocked off No. 1 Villanova at the BMO Harris Bradley Center with a final score of 74-72.
Social media erupted with photos and videos of the wild display of joy and passion unfolding:

It was the kind of celebration "that hasn't been seen in Milwaukee since coach Al McGuire paced the Marquette sideline," AP Sports Writer Genaro C. Armas wrote.
It's the first time Marquette has defeated an opponent ranked number one since 2003.
