Before you can 'ooh' and 'ahh' at Wednesday's firework show, you might want to come up with a plan to avoid weird traffic patterns.
The following intersections will be closed at the start of the fireworks:
- North Ave. - eastbound at Humboldt Blvd.
- North Ave. - northbound at Commerce St.
- North Ave. - northbound at Cambridge Ave.
- West Tower Rd. - westbound at Lincoln Memorial
Milwaukee Police say additional side streets may be barricaded as well depending on traffic flow.
Fireworks are expected to start around 9:30 p.m. Wednesday.
