The Milwaukee Common Council debated expanding early voting locations ahead of November's general election Tuesday.
According to the Milwaukee Election Commission, early voting in the city runs from September 26 to November 5.
When early voting begins, in-person, absentee ballots can be cast at the Zeidler Municipal Building, Midtown Center, and Forest Home Library.

Milwaukee's Common Council also debated adding in-person, early voting sites at MATC's Downtown Campus, as well as at Marquette University and UW-Milwaukee.
The proposal on the agenda calls for those extra voting sites, if approved, to begin operating Monday.
Ald. Bob Bauman, who introduced the measure, also offered an amendment calling for just one additional absentee voting location - at MATC Downtown - for two weeks before the election.
