The Kenosha Education Association is home of the local teacher's union, which represents teachers and other school staff in the Kenosha Unified School District.

At least 30 firefighters were called to fight the fire and took shifts as the fire climbed up the building's walls and into the attic.

Local traffic on 56th and 55th Streets will be closed while the fire is extinguished.
