MILWAUKEE — A driver has been arrested after a pursuit on I-43 near Silver Spring Drive just after midnight Saturday.
Milwaukee County Sheriff's deputies initiated a pursuit with a car that was speeding and driving erratic northbound on I-43.
Deputies say the top speed of the car during the chase was estimated to be 130 mph.
The Glendale Police Department assisted and deployed stop sticks which the fleeing vehicle hit.
The car came to stop near Daphne Road and the driver fled on foot.
The driver was taken into custody after a short foot pursuit.
The driver and the deputy each suffered minor injuries during the chase.
The suspect faces several charges including reckless endangering safety, felony fleeing, and resisting/obstructing causing soft tissue damage to an officer.
