The driver in a fatal hit and run on Milwaukee’s south side turned himself in, according to Milwaukee police.
Earlier this month, a driver hit and killed Hector Hernandez, 36, on the corner of Becher Street and Muskego Avenue.
MPD Chief Ed Flynn said police searched for the driver, and the interest of the public and the media may have influenced the suspect’s decision to turn himself in.
The case will be turned over to the district attorney's office for charges to be filed.
