The driver of a garbage truck was stuck inside their vehicle Monday morning after crashing into a school bus, according to the Washington County Sheriff's Office.
The crash happened Monday morning at the intersection of Hillside and Hubertus in the Village of Richfield. Officials say the truck driver did not see a stop sign due to heavy fog, and failed to yield the right of way to the school bus.
No children were on board the bus at the time of the crash. The driver of the garbage truck suffered minor injuries and needed to be extricated from the vehicle.
