Authorities are looking for a driver who led officers on a high-speed chase Thursday morning.

It started when a Sheboygan County deputy sheriff attempted to pull over a black Chevy SUV on Frontage Road in the town of Wilson at about 8:30 a.m.

According to the deputy, the driver was traveling more than 100 mph.

Deputies pursued the vehicle into Sheboygan, where a Wisconsin State Trooper and officers from the Sheboygan Police Department got involved.

Police say the driver was blowing through stop signs and traveling 50 mph through residential neighborhoods and speeding down alleys.

The driver got out of the vehicle at South 8th Street and Kentucky Avenue and fled on foot. Officers were unable to locate the individual.

Police impounded the vehicle and the investigation continues.
