Milwaukee Police are investigating a fatal crash that happened around 8:15 a.m. Thursday near the intersection of 13th Street and Capitol Drive.
Police say a 26-year-old Milwaukee man was traveling westbound on W. Capitol Drive in BMW X3 at a high rate of speed and hit a 52-year-old Milwaukee man who was traveling south across Capital Drive on N. 13th Street in a Chevy Astro.
The 52-year-old man suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene.
The 26-year-old was arrested on suspicion of operating under the influence causing death.
Milwaukee Police say their investigation is ongoing.
