A driver is facing homicide charges after a Sunday evening crash that killed a passenger.
Police said the crash happened just before 10 p.m. on Sunday in the 4000 block of N. 27th Street.
A vehicle was traveling at a high rate of speed and attempted to pass another vehicle before the driver lost control and hit a tree, police said. The passenger in that vehicle was killed.
Police say the driver was arrested and is facing homicide charges for intoxicated use of a motor vehicle.
