MILWAUKEE COUNTY, Wis. — UPDATE: After nearly five hours of closures and delays the highway has opened back up.
A multi-vehicle crash near Drexel Road continues to cause delays on northbound I-41/94, according to the Wisconsin Department of Transportation.
The Wisconsin DOT falsely announced the incident had been cleared Friday night at 6:30pm. The scene is still very active and the Wisconsin DOT estimates delays to be over two hours.
The traffic on I-41/94 northbound is still being diverted at 7-mile Road in Racine County.
The crash in the Hale Interchange has been cleared.
