WE Energies has restored power to customers that were affected in Tuesday's morning power outage.
The power outage started around 7:45 a.m. Tuesday morning and impacted more than 5,000 customers in Milwaukee County - primarily in downtown Milwaukee and Milwaukee's Riverwest neighborhood.
WE Energies says an equipment issue was the cause of the power outage.
