The Fond du Lac Humane Society is working to bring a dog back to health who was left behind in an apartment building.
The dog, who's merely skin and bones, was found severely starved, dehydrated and emaciated.
The humane society has been feeding the dog small amounts of food and water to avoid bloating, as feeding starved animals large amounts of food can cause bloat and kill them very quickly.
Fond du Lac Police are working to discover the circumstances of this case, but in the mean time let's hope for the best for this poor pooch.
