Crystal Creek Dairy House sits on Highway 33 beckoning customers to come in. But today, the only traffic was from plow trucks.

Tony Cramer’s family owns the place. “Typically we have a pretty busy lunch hour and it’s quiet,” says Cramer.

A sheet of snow covered branches. It’s expected to last through early evening and let up tonight. The schools closed today.

“I was actually surprised that Beaver Dam closed down,” says Cramer. “Because typically, when I was in high school, I had to go during days like this. It’d be a good day for them to build snowmen or something. We haven’t really gotten to yet this year.”
